  • What Can You Ask for from a Diamond Certified CPA?

The results of the 2007 independent survey of Sterck Kulik O'Neill clients released November 7th showed a satisfaction rating of over 92%, and we received the Diamond Certified Award. "Thank you" to our clients for your vote of confidence!

We did learn from comments in the survey and in personal conversations that we need to improve our communications -- in particular we need to let you know more about the range of services we offer. Many people said that they wanted more full-service support. We do that!

Diamond Certified for Quality Here's a short list of how we help businesses and individuals:

    • Tax Planning and Preparation
    • Transaction Structuring
    • Chief Financial Officer Services
    • Conservatorship and Trust Accounting
    • Retirement and Transition Planning
    • Estate Planning

And, please contact us to discuss your specific needs. We provide many services and also refer to other qualified professionals.

Do You Know How to Give Wisely?

The holidays bring out the best in us. And, the worst in them.

"Charities" fronted or run by professional for-profit fund-raising companies sometimes take over 90% of donations for fund raising "expenses". Telephone solicitations for children, fire, and law enforcement causes are especially popular among scammers because of the emotional appeal of the supposed beneficiaries.

We believe in charitable giving. The holidays are an especially good time to give -- and don't forget the potential tax benefits!

Giving wisely ensures that your money goes where you the people you want to help. So, give! And, be smart when you give!

Give to Feed People in our Community

One charity we give money to is the San Francisco Food Bank. What do they do?

We collect donated food from growers, manufacturers and grocers, then distribute it to people in need through food pantries, soup kitchens, child care centers, homeless shelters, senior centers and other human service agencies with meal programs. All in all, we will distribute 28 million pounds of food this year to hungry people in San Francisco.

San Francisco Food bank 97.2% of money donated to the Food Bank is used for giving food, according to Charity Navigator. Administrative expenses are 0.6%, and fund raising is only 2%.
